We're Hiring!
Dobler College Consulting has an opportunity for an experienced college advisor to join a growing independent college consulting practice serving high school students and their families. We are a small, two-person practice that works remotely with all of our students. We believe in putting the student at the center of a process that results in a balanced college list and strong applications that showcase each student’s unique values, interests, personality and strengths. Our students do not fit one mold - sometimes, they have taken five AP courses, sometimes none. They are athletes, budding artists and musicians. Sometimes, they have a flawless GPA, and other times, they think they are just “average” and may not have many college options. We take pride in meeting each of our students where they are, and helping them to articulate and reach their unique goals.
Dobler College Consulting was established in October 2011 and has since grown, almost exclusively through word-of-mouth referrals, to serve over 600 students to date. We are seeking a dedicated, creative, and accountable professional who understands the joys and challenges of the college search for both students and families, and who is eager to contribute their expertise to a growing small business.

- Communicate with students and families in a timely manner especially if a student is not making sufficient progress, nor upholding their commitments.
- Engage in professional development to stay current with information and trends in college admissions.
- Meet bi-weekly with the DCC team to discuss and evaluate student progress, share resources, and troubleshoot issues.
