…instead, schedule time for it and know when to take a break. This is most definitely a marathon and not a sprint.
…instead, schedule time for it and know when to take a break. This is most definitely a marathon and not a sprint.
…and while you may be faced with a tough decision depending on the number of acceptances you have received, you owe it to yourself to think about this decision carefully. Remember that your college experience is about what you put into it so make sure you know how each college best fits you academically, socially and financially.
…so as you make your decision on where you will attend college in the fall, make sure you take some time to thank all the people who have helped you along the way. Whether it’s your parents, your school counselor, admission counselors you connected with along the way, teachers who wrote your recommendations, a coach or someone you job shadowed with, they all played a role in your college search. Be sure to thank them and let them know where you decided to go.
…so they know you well enough to write a letter of rec that counts. Most counselors will only be able to schedule time to see you once or twice before your applications go out. If they don’t know you, they can’t write anything about you that really matters.
